Why Solartek ?
- The beam reflection value of the aluminium absorber plate is much higher when compared to copper and steel. But because of the depth of the nickel pigmented aluminium oxide coating that is applied on the aluminium is much greater, the surface area is much larger than the visible surface area. For this reason the efficiency of the Solartek collector is equal to or higher than the copper collector.
- Aluminium plates are coated in chemical pools and they are washed with water in cleaning tubs during the final phase. Consequently, it is very unlikely for the humidity that occurs as a result of whether conditions in the collector to cause any harm on the coating. But however, because the coating that is applied on the copper plates are being processed under vacuum, the moisture and water which will occur later on, may cause serious damages on the coating. For this reason the warranty periods that are offered by manufacturers of copper and steel absorber plates, are not as long as Solartek offers.
- Even if Solartek collectors have the same or higher efficiency when compared to copper and steel collectors, they are offered to the market with much more acceptable prices.
- The profiles that are used in the Solartek selective plates are manufactured as a whole piece by extrusion method, and their hydraulic pressure loss value is minimized and absorption from selective plates is maximized.
- The glasses used in Solartek collectors are tempered and have a very high sunlight transmittance value. They have the endurance to withstand 250 kg/m² spread out weight. In all the collectors used in models other than SK model, low ferrous oxide and prismatic pattern glasses are used.
- For the thermal isolation, high density rock wool of which one side is coated with dark fibreglass is used within Solartek collectors (except SK models). This material is resistant against very high temperatures, there is no gas outflow within its structure, and it has moisture repellent feature unlike glass wool. Other materials that are used during installation do not create a gas outflow. For example, the silicon used is neutral and does not contain acid. As a result, by preventing the occurrence of a film layer under the glass through gas outflow, high efficiency is obtained for long years.
- Within the copper collectors that are manufactured by using ultrasound welding, the contact of the water canals with selective surface is very small. And under high temperature operational conditions of the copper collectors that are manufactured by soldering, a film layer might occur under the glass because of the gas outflow resulting from soldering material used. These conditions that have adverse effect on the copper collectors are out of question within Solartek collectors.
- Solartek aluminium selective surface plates are being manufactured by using advanced technology. Solartek is manufactured by using 100 % recyclable materials and it is environment friendly.
